UFOOAR

Uno For Open Office And Ruby

UFOOAR is a Ruby library used to automate OpenOffice.org via its UNO interface. UNO is similar to Microsoft's OLE and COM interfaces. UFOOAR (originally oohelper) was first developed to enable some testers in the WATIR Users Group to utilize OpenOffice.org spreadsheets as a data source for their automated tests. It has since then grown into its own project for automating tasks in OpenOffice.org using Ruby. Of course our focus will always be in supporting WATIR users and their need for a free and open source data source that is simple to use and doesn't require normal database administrator tasks.
